Explore The Rocks

Get a sense of Sydney's past exploring The Rocks' cobbled laneways, cozy cafés and oldest pubs in the country. Island hopping on Sydney Harbour

Thai Town

Thai Town, located in Haymarket on Campbell Street bordering Chinatown, is a neighborhood in Sydney with a Thai theme. While not as elaborate as Sydney's Chinatown, it has quickly become to best place to go in Sydney for great Thai Restaurants as well as Thai grocery stores.

Port Douglas

Ironbar Restaurant

Locally owned and operated since 1994, The Ironbar Restaurant’s rustic Australiana theme and lively atmosphere make it a hit with locals and tourists alike. For a fun night out, check out their live and local music talents on stage each night.

Four Mile Beach

No visit to Port Douglas is complete without a walk along Four Mile Beach. Listen to the palm trees in the breeze as you walk along four miles of white sandy beach without a hint of civilization in sight. Choose to laze in the sun on the warm sand, swim in the calm waters of the Coral Sea, or gaze along the coastline for spectacular views of the ocean and rainforest.

Bally Hooley Steam Railway

Meet Speedy and Bundy, two 55-year-old coal-fired steam locomotives - the very last ones used by the Mossman Sugar Mill before switching to diesel locomotives for hauling the sugar cane from the fields to the region's mill. Take a ride on these historic little steam trains on a track that has been in existence for over a century. Train operates daily 9:30 am to 3:30 pm including most public holidays.

Fine Dining by the Sea

The Reef Marina offers a diverse range of dining options. Overlooking the magnificent Coral Sea, this is the perfect place to unwind even further and take in the atmosphere of this stunning seaside town.

The Clink Theatre (Douglas Theatre Arts Group)

Filled with history and life, this beautiful auditorium, with perfect acoustics, and the best little bar in town, plays host to local and travelling artists alike and makes for a great night on the town.

Melbourne

The Block Arcade

Step back in time as you stroll the beautiful shops of the Block Arcade. Perhaps enjoy afternoon tea at the Hopetoun Tea Rooms, where the Victorian Ladies’ Work Association ran a small tea room from 1893-1907.

Old Melbourne Gaol

More than 100 hangings took place at this former prison, including that of Australia’s equivalent to Jesse James—hero and bandit Ned Kelly. The collection of artifacts and death masks are most interesting. For a truly chilling experience, take one of the night tours.

Cook’s Cottage

Built in 1755 by Captain Cook’s parents in Yorkshire, England, this cottage was moved in crates and barrels to Melbourne in 1934. The cottage provides a glimpse into Captain Cook’s world voyages as well as insight into 18th- century English family life.

Queen Victoria Market

Melbourne is Australia’s melting pot, and this open-air market offers a true taste of the ethnic mix. Among hundreds of stalls, you’ll find everything from fresh produce and wine to handicrafts and bargain clothes. Closed Mondays & Wednesdays.

Melbourne Cricket Ground

Witness a local icon originally built in 1853. If you’re unable to see a cricket match or Australia Rules Football, visit the National Sports Museum located at the ground. Or perhaps venture to nearby Melbourne Park, home of the Australian Open Grand Slam tennis tournament.

Brunswick Street, Fitzroy

Find art, fashion and food on Melbourne's Soho strip. Boredom isn't an option on Brunswick Street, the vibrant Melbourne strip where people from all walks of life go to shop, eat, drink, meet and dance. And it’s a popular spot for filming several TV shows.

Queenstown

Mt. Difficulty Wines

With the smoothest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Merlot, you won’t find anything difficult about sampling the vintages at this winery.

Queenstown Underwater Observatory

View into the depths of Lake Wakatipu for a glimpse at the underwater inhabitants who call the lake home. The Observatory is conveniently located at the Main Town Pier (just look out for the yellow KJet sign).

Visit Arrowtown

Charming and quirky, this delightful gold rush village is nestled below the beautiful peaks that surround the sparkling Arrow River. Stop by at the award winning Lakes District Museum for a historical lesson of this enchanted town.

Devonport, New Zealand

Take a ferry from downtown Auckland direct to Devonport or drive over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The historic seaside village of Devonport has a charming and relaxed atmosphere. Stroll around the village at your leisure and visit some of its attractions including the many art galleries, historic points of interest and lookouts. Galleries are scattered throughout the village with a range of art by specialists in glass, ceramics, painting, sculpture and jewelry. Take a break at one of the many cafes or indulge at the renowned Devonport Chocolates.

Viaduct Harbour

Spend the day exploring the park, a combination nature preserve and eco-tourism destination. Take a nature walk through the forest on elevated boardwalks, hand feed sea turtles, and get your photo taken with the resident iguanas. Visit Fiji’s Capital City

Go Scuba Diving or Snorkeling

It’s called the Coral Coast for a reason. Either hire some snorkel or scuba gear from one of the local shops or your resort or join a tour to get to all the best spots. Tours will take you by boat to some of the outer reefs where you’ll discover some breathtaking underwater scenery and tropical fish.

Discover Naihehe Caves

This hidden gem on the Coral Coast is one that few get to discover but once you make the effort to get to these majestic limestone caves, you’ll realize it was well worth the journey. Take a 4WD tour to get to the caves – the road and rivers to get to the caves are an experience in themselves. Your guide will explain the Fijian history of these caves and there will also be the opportunity to enjoy some cave swimming too.
